Nose
Fresh, fruity, with strong and well composed aromas. Sherry, ripe fruit and delicate wood notes set the tone. Scents of orange, apple, vanilla and hay. It thus forms a pleasant contrast with the exotic aromas.
Palate
Powerful, with wonderful mouthfeel "mouth feel", ripe and balanced flavors, complex and slightly sweet, finely composed with hints of toasted caramel, blossom honey and banana. With a long lasting finish.
Maturation
Select, occupied Armagnac sherry and port barrels selected by Macardo.
The single malt whisky in cask strength, limited to 904 bottles, produced for the opening of the "World of Macardo" in Strohwilen in November 2020. A special single malt whisky for an exceptional occasion. Distilled with dedication from the finest Thurgau barley. Then fermented with selected special yeasts. Further matured in exquisite, specifically selected, occupied Armagnac sherry and port casks. A Swiss Premium Whisky, pleasant to drink and a perfect companion for a fine cigar.
