2-day Macardo distilling course

Discover the Macardo distilling course - an unforgettable 2-day experience!

Start: Friday 4 pm

End: Saturday 3 pm

Learn how to make a whisky mash and what to look out for. A tasting of selected samples will show you what is right or wrong with different distillates.

A delicious dinner together rounds off the first part of the evening.

Friday evening ends with fine distillates and cigars in the exclusive Macardo Honesty Bar, followed by an overnight stay in the first-class Macardo Premium Bed & Breakfast. 

The next day we continue with theory and practice. You will distil the whisky mash and gain valuable insights into the distillation process. You will learn to separate the spirit into the first run, middle run and second run.

Our experienced course instructor, Ulrich Zeni, a recognised specialist in distilling throughout Europe, and our master distiller Bartholomäus Fink, will be on hand at all times to share their expertise with you. After lunch, the course continues until 3 pm.
