The red wine "04" stands for authentic enjoyment from Thurgau – 100% Thurgau, 100% craftsmanship. Made from selected Thurgau AOC grapes, refined and bottled in the heart of the canton, this wine epitomises regional origin and the highest quality.

A flavourful piece of history The number "04" is no coincidence: it complements the Macardo white wine "19" with the year 1904 – the year the historic cheese dairy, which is now home to Macardo Swiss Distillery, was built. Since 2020, these venerable walls have not only been used for distilling, but also for celebrating wine enjoyment with history. A place where the artisanal tradition of enjoyment has been lived for over 100 years.

The cuvée – carefully composed The red wine "04" is a limited cuvée that impresses with its elegant depth and structure. The grape varieties: Pinot Noir – for finesse and fruitiness Merlot – for velvety depth Dornfelder – for colour, strength and character.

The grapes come from the renowned Jimmy Saxer winery, from Nussbäumen, which stands for the highest art of winegrowing in Thurgau. Cultivated and cared for with passion, they develop their unmistakable, harmonious flavour in this cuvée.
