With experience and passion, we draw out the maximum flavour from Thurgau fruit. They mature in the macardo barrel store in wooden barrels, with the addition of dried fruit. It is not only the colours that are a sensation, but also their taste – without any added sugar, colourings or flavourings. This is how our special Vieilles are created.

Vieil Abricot is produced from highly aromatic, hand-picked apricots. Outstanding quality with a distinctive fruity flavour characterised by hints of marzipan, roasted notes and oak. In other words, a sweet delicacy, fruity and by no means cloying, with a complex aroma. A wonderful fruit brandy for that special occasion.
According to an ancient recipe, our Vieille Prune is made from fully ripe, premium plums. In 2016, it was awarded IWSC Gold in London as the best in its category. The finest plum aroma with a hint of vanilla and a light oak note. Our Vieille Prune matures in used American white oak whisky casks, with the addition of dried plums.
The apple, symbol of the canton of Thurgau, and a true delicacy, reaches perfection in the form of the Swiss Vieille Pomme. The intense apple note, accompanied by vanilla, also captivates with hints of balsamic and oak. Award-winning, fascinatingly aromatic and uniquely seductive thanks to its delicate whisky notes. In short, a delight.
Vieille Poire Williams by macardo is one of the world’s finest Williams pear brandies, and has also been awarded a gold medal at the IWSC in London. Intense pear aroma, herbal notes, caramel, raisins and blossom honey. Complex, round and smooth, with an infinitely long finish. The subtle wood and whisky notes lend this fruit brandy an exclusive character without overshadowing the pear flavour. A true delight.
