The Thurgau FDP on the financial situation of the canton: "We are doing well".

Cantonal Councilor Kristiane Vietze humorously explained at the fall meeting of the FDP why the canton of Thurgau has a luxury problem.

Public finances - in itself not an entertaining topic for a Saturday evening between culinary and musical delights. Cantonal Councilor Kristiane Vietze, however, succeeded in doing so, the FDP informs. Under the title "The Canton of Thurgau and its luxury problem", she presented the current financial situation of the canton at the 68th autumn meeting of the FDP Thurgau in the Macardo Swiss Distillery in Amlikon "humorously and with facts".

"Consistently high revenues, bulging funds, silverware in the form of investments, all pre-funded and placed ahead of the big neighboring canton in the competitive indicator."

The conclusion: "We are doing well." Kristiane Vietze wishes to move forward with full vigor and invest in progress. She said there was virtually a luxury opportunity to invest in the attractiveness of Thurgau as a business location. "The entire population of Thurgau benefits from the positive development and we can well afford a tax cut of ten percent."

Organizer Maja Lüscher had to keep a waiting list for the event. "The great interest shows how lively our party is," party president Gabriel Macedo was pleased to say. The President of the Thurgau Trade Association, Hansjörg Brunner, and Andy Bössow, owner of Macardo Swiss Distillery, rounded off the evening with a short talk entitled "From Entrepreneur to Entrepreneur", accompanied by music from Olivia Geiser and Nemati Babak.
