Nose
Powerful, smoky, with hints of sea, salt and seaweed and slight sweetness, with strong, complex and well composed aromas. Discreetly pears, raisins and dark chocolate can be detected.
Palate
Already properly matured Islay whiskey with fine aromas of dried fruit, ash and smoke. Complex and multilayered, surprisingly sweet and slightly salty, finely smoky, with notes of seaweed. A hint of fine bitter orange peel and a touch of charcoal in the finish catch the sweet notes and give the single malt a strong structure.
