Nose
Fresh, fruity, with strong and well composed aromas. Sherry, ripe fruit and delicate wood notes set the tone. Scents of orange, apple, vanilla and hay. It always provides new impressions during tasting thanks to its exotic aromas.
Palate
Multilayered and slightly sweet, wonderfully soft, marked by fine spicy oak, with hints of toasted caramel, blossom honey and dark chocolate. Creamy mouthfeel and with a lingering finish.
Maturation
Select, Macardo selected, topped Armagnac sherry and port barrels.
Single malt whisky limited to 1904 bottles, produced for the opening of the "World of Macardo" in Strohwilen in November 2020. A special single malt whisky for an exceptional occasion. Moreover, distilled with dedication from the finest Thurgau barley, fermented with selected special yeasts, matured in exquisite occupied Armagnac sherry and port casks, specifically selected by Macardo.
