Our 174 square meter, top-equipped event location with its own kitchen is full of possibilities. Here you can celebrate company or family parties, give your wedding a dignified setting, hold seminars, workshops, courses and training - or whatever you feel like. With up to 100 people, in stylish surroundings, easily accessible, even by public transport. Optionally, you can also use the Distillery and/or the Honesty Bar for your event. And after the event, you and your guests can stay overnight in the comfort of the Premium B&B.

The event room has a total area of 174m2 and can be divided by acoustic curtains. In addition, you enjoy great freedom in the arrangement of tables and chairs. Whether roundtable, training, banquet or group workshop: In our event room, the ambience is just right. Our event room can accommodate up to 100 people.
Own kitchen
Macardo event location is perfectly equipped for all types of occasions. We design the menu with you, because we do not have a fixed menu card that we present to you. We will be happy to work with you to find the tailor-made solution for your event. And of course we will spoil your guests with specialties from our wine and distillate cellar.
Weddings
Would you like to celebrate this unforgettable day with us? We will be happy to guide you through our entire location, consisting of the event room, a terrace, guest rooms, a bar and barrel storage.
For couples who wish to have a free wedding ceremony in our location, we offer the possibility to organize the ceremony either on our terrace or in the unique barrel warehouse.
Do you need assistance for your special day? Whether you need a wedding planner, background music, a DJ, elaborate floral arrangements, stylish decorations, transportation or other services, don't hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to assist you in any way we can to make sure your wedding day is perfect.

Macardo pickup
Macardo combines tradition with innovation - and has a top-restored Chevrolet pickup built in 1946. We would be happy to make this likeable advertising vehicle, which attracts all eyes wherever it appears, available for your event. As a shuttle vehicle for VIPs, as a wedding car or for your individual purpose.
Distilling course, sensory or cigar workshop
New experiences, new ideas, new team spirit: We enrich your events and functions with exciting elements. For example, with a distilling course, an introduction to the world of sensory analysis, a workshop in cigar rolling or a bartender seminar. We have many ideas at the ready. We would be happy to advise you personally.

From Frauenfeld and Weinfelden you can reach us with the Postbus line 838.
The bus stop "Fimmelsberg / Kreuz" is directly in front of our house.

In Veloland Thurgau many paths lead to Strohwilen. Here you will find a selection of possible routes.
From the area Konstanz / Kreuzlingen follow the A7 to junction 5, Grüneck, and then road no. 14 towards Weinfelden. At the height of Märstetten, leave the traffic circle in the direction of Wil / Münchwilen and turn right in Junkholz at the sign Fimmelsberg, Thundorf, Frauenfeld into Frauenfelderstrasse. After just under one kilometer you will reach Macardo.
From the St.Gallen / Rhine Valley area follow the A1 in the direction of Zurich until exit 76, Münchwilen. First follow the signs Münchwilen / Sirnach and then the signs towards Weinfelden. In Tobel / Tägerschen turn left into Wilerstrasse (16) in the direction of Konstanz, Kreuzlingen, Affeltrangen, Tobel. After about 5 kilometers, just before the hamlet of Bänikon, turn left into Sonnenhofstrasse. After about one kilometer you will reach Macardo.
From the Zurich area first follow the A1 in the direction of St.Gallen and from freeway junction 73, Winterthur Ost, the A7 in the direction of Konstanz. At junction 5, Grüneck, follow the signs to Romanshorn, Müllheim, Weinfelden and drive to Märstetten. There you leave the traffic circle in the direction of Wil / Münchwilen and turn right in Junkholz at the sign Fimmelsberg, Thundorf, Frauenfeld into Frauenfelderstrasse. After about one kilometer you will reach Macardo.

Our event location is a real dream for all kinds of Eve. The journey is also easy, because our event location is even easily accessible by public transport.
As a special highlight we offer our guests our own Bed & Breakfast. Here the breakfast is prepared exclusively with regional ingredients and thus guarantees a special taste experience. In the evening, our guests can then end the evening comfortably in our Honesty Bar & Cigar Lounge and enjoy our in-house distillates, such as whiskey, gin, rum and more.
For lunch and dinner, a fully equipped kitchen is available to our guests. Here, of course, we cater to the individual wishes and needs of our customers and offer a menu that is perfectly tailored to the event. Whether a festive menu for a wedding or a relaxed buffet for a training session - we ensure that every guest is fully satisfied.
